High Level Overview of the Programme

The programme will consist of the following four modules.

MODULE 1: The Art of Provocation

The first quarter of the programme is designed to include the following:

The origins of Provocation from Frank Farrelly’s original work
The difference between the provocative frame and traditional ways of coaching and therapy
How to work with ‘process” rather than getting stuck in unhelpful analysis
The history of PCW to date and how the model has evolved
The 3 PCW approaches that are unique in this way of working
An introduction to the 40 stances used in PCW
1 – 1 live sessions with Nick

MODULE 2: Incorporating conversational trance work

The Second quarter of the programme is designed to include the following:

How trancework expands and compliments the PCW stances
The importance of psychoeducation in client sessions
How to use client notes and structure a live session
Using voice, tone and rhythm to provoke client change
The myths of hypnosis and how to avoid overreliance on techniques
Advanced exploration of PCW stances and combining stances
Creating a feedback loop for client change
Working 1 – 1 with Nick

MODULE 3: Integration and Practice

The third quarter of the programme is designed to include the following:

Advanced deconstructing client sessions
Using fractionation conversationally in sessions
Introducing conversation metaphor elicitation and challenges
The template for problem-solving in business, therapy, sport and coaching
Marketing your practice and avoiding common mistakes
Group curveball exercises
Website and marketing dos and don’t

MODULE 4: The Reality check time

This module will all be about “show and tell” and evaluation and demonstration of skills including:

Presentations from students on using the PCW model
Live evaluations of skills with Nick observing
Live work with members of the public
Certificate evaluation
Final round out of year course

The monthly slots will run 10 – 2pm with one short break
All attendees have the opportunity for 6 one to one 40 minute slots with Nick
Additional catch up/Q and A and practice slots will be available throughout the year
